Uzgajanje celija u laboratorijskoj posudi za eksperimentalno istrazivanje. Celije su uzgajane u rastvoru, ili medijumu, koji sadrzi hranljive sastojke i faktore rasta. Razliciti faktori se mogu dodati medijumu da bi se podstakle promene u ponasanju celija.
