System's spelling mistake on user page

Hi, can anyone of the staff change the spelling of "Photo Album" in the user page? Now the spelling is clearly wrong, at least that's what can be seen on my user page! "Album" needs a "U" not an "O". Thank you. MisterBeppe alias Giuseppe Bellone

Hi Teditor, I'm rather disappointed once again, and after all the translations I've been posting in the recent days. Now when I translate a term and its definition something goes wrong, and I think it's because the developers have been working on the system in these days, that's clear. Now: 1) the green tick marking "more than a thousand contribution" has totally disappeared; 2) the number in brackets beside my photo instead of indicating more than 1100 entries, simply says 200, and can't understand why. 3) the "Top translator" logo, with the BEE has also disappeared as well. I must say that despite all my efforts to contribute many other contributors are much further ahead than I am, and once more I do stress my complete dissatisfaction, disappointment and disgust for the way the whole system is working at the moment. If the work I've been doing so far is not taken into consideration, as it seems to be at the moment, I WILL NOT TRANSLATE any more words and I WILL certainly spend my time DELETING ALL MY CONTRIBUTIONS completely, from the first one to the last one, as a protest for the totally unfair treatment I've received. I had been promised some extra positions but nothing has been done, and now I even experience what I said above. You personally even told me, in your last answer, that I should continue translating the definitions because a new way of calculating the contributions would be introduced, that translating more would have a better result on the contributor's position but so far things have only been worse, not better. I'm very sorry to point these things out but my impression is clear: Perhaps things will change, but for the time being I do think I've been completely FOOLED and CHEATED. Regards, MisterBeppe

Hi Robert, thank you per your kind explanation, now I understand the strange coming and going and changing and dancing of the figures. I'm eagerly awaiting the changes and see at least some kind of moral compensation for the work I've been doing so far. Thank you for understanding my position and my the bad impression I've had. Best regards, MisterBEppe

Hi MisterBeppe, The issue with the user box besides the term was simply a bug, not an attempt to fool or cheat you. The 'Top Contributors 2011' will be changed any time now - we are still doing some testing. It will reflect the number of words translated, including the definition.

Hi MisterBeppe, thanks for pointing this out. This has been fixed. BTW, please continue to translate both the terms and definitions as you have suggested. A new system of counting contributions will be launched soon which will affect the current standings of the top contributor list. People who translate both the terms and definitions should receive much higher ranking.

Hi Teditor, thanks for your kind answers. I do hope your staff of programmers takes into consideration what I've already pointed out in several posts: nobody will translate long definitions if the system does not count the ACTUAL number of the source words being translated, and I mean, ALL the words (term and the number of words of its definition). If there's no difference between the translation of a three-word definition and a thirty-line one, all of us will certainly leave out longer texts and translate only very short ones, if any, that's pretty sure! The system should be set in such a way that it actually counts ALL THE TRANSLATED WORDS (both as a TERM and as a DEFINITION), or once more the counting is not fair at all and there won't be right consideration for those who work hard and write long lines of text. Thank you. Have a nice day. Kindest regards, MisterBeppe
